Singareni Collieries Company Ltd has plans to invest Rs 864 crore in one of the largest underground mine at Adriyala near Ramagundam in Andhra Pradesh.

The project will use Longwall technology-based underground mines. This project is slated for operation by next year. The Longwall technology enables extracting coal in the form of slices of one metre and above, and thereby enhances quality of output and shortens time to remove.
