Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has launched its third generation (3G) service in Tamil Nadu. The service will be available in Coimbatore, Coonoor and Ooty, and would be launched across 38 cities in the coming three months. BSNL is facilitating customers of 2G service to migrate to 3G free of cost. The service provider has lined up investments worth Rs 1,000 crore, including Rs 130 crore for 3G services.
