Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Company Ltd's (KEL) opens new factory at Edarikkodu in Malappuram. The factory will manufacture 1,200 transformers of 100 kVA capacities per year for Kerala Electrical & Allied Engineering Company Ltd. The total value of these transformers is about Rs 10 crore.
