The Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) is designated as the telecom service provider for Commonwealth Games 2010. The cabinet approved a budget of Rs 182 crore for the MTNL for this purpose. MTNL will establish telecommunication network to be obtained on wet lease inclusive of supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance and providing professional services.
