Paradip port crossed another milestone by achieving 50 million tons (mt) of cargo in terms of traffic handling on 17 February 2010 during the current year. The port has attained this mile stone with a growth rate of 27.06 per cent, which is the highest growth amongst all the major ports during the current financial year. Besides, Paradip port has achieved fifth place in total cargo handled during the current financial year amongst the major and non-major ports.
