Punj Lloyd Group has won the country's largest solar-based EPC contract of combined value of Rs 232 crore from the Public Health Engineering Department of the Government of Bihar. The company will design and construct solar water treatment plants to resolve severe groundwater contamination which causes many diseases. The company will design, construct and commission 850 water treatment plants across Bihar which will be powered by solar energy.

Punj Lloyd Delta Renewables, will execute this contract. The combined solar power generation will be more than 1.3 MW.
