The Bengaluru airport will have a new look and additional facilities in 18 months’ time. Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has announced a Rs 1,000 crore expansion plan for Terminal one, in view of the steady growth in passenger traffic that might touch the 17 million mark by 2014-15. The expansion works are to be completed in 18 months, and will be funded by a 70:30 per cent debt equity ratio.
