Moser Baer Projects a developer of power generation facilities with a diverse pipeline of thermal, solar and hydroelectric power projects has attracted an investment of Rs 1,350 crore from the Blackstone group. The investment will fund MBPPL’s plan of commissioning 5,000 MW of power generation capacity, 4,000 MW of thermal power, 500 MW of solar power and 500 MW of hydro power, over the next six years in India and Germany. The group’s 1,200 MW Annuppur Project-1 in Madhya Pradesh has achieved financial closure.
