THE EXPRESS MAN

Navneet Sehgal, CEO, UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority, has been leading state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's dream project. And, to much success, India's longest expressway - the 302-km-long Agra-Lucknow Expressway - has been commissioned; that too, in a record time of two years. The greenfield six-lane expressway is expected to reduce road travel time between Delhi and Lucknow by five to six hours. It includes four rail over bridges, 13 major bridges, 57 minor bridges, 74 vehicular underpasses, 148 pedestrian underpasses and 10 flyovers. Evidently, Sehgal´s determination has come to fruition, with the expressway proving to be among the world´s best.
