The Formwork Experts

Doka Group is the pioneer in introducing system formwork, which is the most demanded solution for quality conscious players in the construction industry.

India is the fastest growing economy in the world with a GDP growth rate of more than 7 per cent.

The construction sector caters to 10 per cent of this GDP, which is quite substantial. According to a study, by 2025, the construction market in India is expected to emerge as the third largest globally.

Quality solution
The residential and infrastructure sectors are expected to be the major contributors with the highest growth in coming years. Along with time, people in construction industry are getting inclined towards the time bound construction, safety and durability of the material used in the process. Due to this, system formwork has emerged as the most sought after solution for the quality conscious players in the construction industry. Doka Group has been the pioneer in introducing the system formwork since 1958 and providing its services in more than 70 countries globally. Its headquarter is located at Amstetten, Austria, and it is part of the 150-year-old Umdasch Group.

Overseas projects
Doka believes in making the dreams of architects come true.
The firm has executed many prestigious projects globally. Doka formwork were used in Burj Khalifa Dubai to help construct the world's tallest building. Here, Doka supplied the formwork solution for the entire structure core. Inspired by an Arabian desert flower, the shape of the tower meant that the formwork needed to be highly adaptable. In turn, the extremely tight construction schedule necessitated a perfectly thought-out utilisation plan.

Not only the high-rise buildings, but Doka has marked its forte in heavy civil industry and one of the greatest example is Central Hidroelectrica Angostura, Chile. This project consists of a discharge tunnel for the largest hydroelectric power station built over the course of the last decade in Chile. Due to the size of the cross-section, Doka planned a two-storey forming carriage made of the Doka load-bearing tower. In spite of the great longitudinal inclination of 13.75 per cent, it was assembled with this inclination by a Doka formwork instructor.

Looking at the growth potential and change in expectation of customers in India and SAARC countries, Doka has started its operations in India in 2008, and since then, it has contributed in the execution of many renowned projects.
