Nitish Kumar inaugurates Ratawal-Dhanaha road bridge

Ratawal-Dhanaha road bridge over Gandak river was inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on November 26. It is a long-awaiting demand of people of the area and now it is fulfilled. The bridge will serve four blocks-Thakarha, Bhitaha, Madhubani and Piparasi-residing on the right bank of the river Gandak. These blocks, bifurcated by the Gandak, were not directly connected to Bagaha sub-division as well as West Champaran district headquarters of Bettiah. Media reports sayd that this bridge has now opened a new era of development in both sides of the diara, besides providing the tourists, especially foreigners, a direct connectivity to the Buddha circuit from Kushinagar (UP) to Lauria (Bihar).
