GSIDC to construct Cable-stayed bridge over Mandovi River

The Government of Goa has planned a four-lane cable stayed bridge over the Mandovi river. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 355 crore. LKS India Pvt Ltd has proposed this project. They have been assigned with the task of preparing a master plan for Panaji. Goa state infrastructure development corporation (GSIDC) is the implementing agency for this project. GSIDC has floated tender for this bridge project. The length of the cable-stayed part of the bridge will be 600 mtr and width will be 18.2 metre. The bridge would start near the Pundalik Nagar junction at Porvorium and terminating near the Merces junction.
