TN Highways Department hopes to complete Radha Nagar subway soon

The Tamil Nadu Highways Department targets to complete the construction of the Radha Nagar subway in Chromepet, Chennai and allow it to be a limited use facility as demanded by one section of the residents living on Radha Nagar main road. The railways had completed the construction of the cement concrete box portion of the subway way back in 2012. The subway could not be connected to the either side due to residents protests. The pedestrians, two wheelers and autorickshaws would be allowed to use Radha Nagar subway as serve as limited use facility as of now. The box portion of the subway is 30-metre long, 2.5 metre wide and 5 metre high. The subways is likely to complete in three months.
