NHAI invites RFP for Delhi-Meerut expressway

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) plans to undertake development of Delhi-Meerut expressway and other connecting roads including 6/8-laning of NH-24 from km 0 to km 49.923 (Hapur Bypass), 6-laning of NH-58 from km 6.800 (Delhi-UP border) to km 52.528 (Meerut bypass) and NH-235 from km 0.360 to 8.80 in the state of Delhi & Uttar Pradesh on DBFOT (Toll) basis under NHDP Phase-VI. The road length is 150.147 km. The project is estimated to cost Rs 6,571 crore. The pre-qualified and short listed applicants for this project announced by NHAI includes SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd, consortium of TRIL Roads Pvt Ltd - Vinci Concession Pte Ltd - Sadbhav Engineering Ltd, IL&FS Transportation Ltd, consortium of Indus Concession India Pvt Ltd and Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt Ltd and Uniquest Infra Ventures Pvt Ltd. RFP documents for this project is uploaded on the e-tendering portal of NHAI with bid due date as June 6th, 2014.
