ADB funds 50-km long road between Tupul to Bishnupur
Asian Development Bank (ADB) is funding the proposed 50 km long road from Tupul to Bishnupur in the state of Manipur. The road would be 5.5 metre broad as per the specifications, but the total breadth of land required for the road is 7.25 metre after adding 1 m for drain and 0.75 m for road shoulder. The project is facing land acquisition issues. Due to this it is being considered to keep the breadth of the proposed road to the existing breadth of 4.75 metre between Tupul and Thangal.
