M/o Development of North East Region sanctions new projects under NLCPR

The details of new projects sanctioned in the current financial year by the Ministry of Development of North East Region under the Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources Scheme (NLCPR) are: 1) Thengkhari Barhola Pathar Irrigation Scheme in Assam. 2) Construction of road from 52.0 km point of NH 154 – Katlicherra Grant of District Hailakandi to Veterbond – Dullavcherra NEC road of Dist Karimganj in Assam. 3) Remodeling of Electrical Installation including System Improvement Works at Rhenock Bazar and adjoining areas in East Sikkim. 4) Upgradation of 132/66/33 KV Grid Sub-station at Nagarjan, Dimapur in Nagaland. 5) Construction of an approach road from Chokpot in South Garo Hills to Jetra (jetragre) (0-17 Km) in Meghalaya. 6) Construction of Nyodu Sibe Siru Road (23 km) in West Siang District in Arunachal Pradesh. 7) Construction of road from Parsi-Parlo (Patuk ADC HQ) (Phase-I; 5km length complete upto blacktopping level including culverts, bridges etc. in Arunachal Pradesh. 8) Construction of road from Pakoti to Kamsha Village (6.50km) in Arunachal Pradesh. The approved cost for the above project is Rs 104.93 crore and the amount of funds released so far is Rs 37.77 crore.
