Railways took four long years to decide on Currey road FOB construction

Tenders have been called for the construction of Currey Road foot overbridge in Mumbai. The project involves construction of FOB which would be 3.66-metre wide and 15-metre long. The tender is likely to be finalised by the end of September 2014. The FOB construction was planned in 2010 by the railways and the civic body BMC has already paid Rs 1.17 crore for this project. The project got stucked with the railways. The FOB will benefit the passengers travelling to Worli, Saat Rasta and Mahalaxmi. This would be constructed on the CST-end.
