BRO undertakes construction of 592-metre long cable stayed bridge at Basohli

The Defence spokesman Col S D Goswami has said that a 592-meter-long cable stayed bridge is being constructed on the river Ravi at Basohli in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. This bridge would connect Doda-Kishtwar-Kathua belt with Punjab. The bridge construction is undertaken by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) at a cost of Rs 145 crore. The Basohli Bridge is likely to boost inter-state connectivity of Jammu and Kashmir.
