BMRCL to improve links

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) plans to tie-up with private players to introduce self-driven two-wheeler services as a pilot programme. The tender for these services has been bagged by Bengaluru-based bike-rental startup Wicked Ride. Wicked Ride´s last-mile connectivity arm ´Apna Ride´ is expected to rent out electric and non-electric two-wheelers soon. The services are expected to start in about three weeks´ time, around when the Phase-I of the Metro is expected to open. The five stations that will have these services are Byapanahalli, Indira Nagar, Trinity, Mantri Square and Peenya.
