The bauma Forum at bauma 2010, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, is covering an even more extensive and broad-ranging spectrum of themes than at the last event in 2007. According to Exhibition Manager Georg Moller, during the preparations for the forthcoming edition of bauma, exhibitors from other sections also proposed interesting themes, and these are now being included in an expanded programme. bauma 2010 - Partner Country India

The successful partner-country concept will be part of bauma for the fourth time in 2010. When selecting a partner country, the objective is to bring potential customers from the world’s rapidly growing markets to Munich. After Latin America, the Confederation of Independent States and the Arabian Peninsula, India will be our partner country at bauma 2010. In 2007, the partner-country concept doubled the number of visitors from the Arabian Peninsula

bauma is expecting several delegations and prominent visitors from India who use the largest exhibition in the world as a platform for developing new business contacts. As an exhibitor, you can take advantage of the potential that this up-and-coming region has to offer – a region in the midst of a construction boom that is beyond compare.

Exhibitors from India

bauma latest [03/03/2010]

Work starts very soon on the actual setting up at bauma. Eight weeks ahead of the fair, exhibitors are already very busy getting their stands ready, because the official setting-up time is simply not long enough for some of the very sophisticated stands being planned. The first of the 500 or so transports of heavy loads have already arrived here at the exhibition centre. And in the coming weeks we are expecting a further 6,000 truckloads, containing stand construction material and exhibits. It is hard to find parallels for the amazing logistical challenge faced here in the last week of set-up, when half of the total number of trucks converge on the site. And yet by the time the fair opens on the first day, everything will be in its place and bauma can get down to business.
If you want to get ahead and find out where exactly the exhibitors you want to see will be located at the fair, you can go onto the bauma website and use our Booth Finder application, and consult the hall plans.
