Mumbai based Valecha Engineering Ltd was established in 1957.
The company has created some of the most prominent civil engineering
infrastructure landmarks. The company is engaged in construction
of high end infrastructural engineering projects such as irrigation
dams, roads, bridges, highways, power projects, railways,
tunnels airports, reservoirs, piling, etc. The company also
has ventured into a fast growing sector of construction of
multi-storied buildings and towers targeted at the commercial
sector. It has completed many projects with determination
at various destinations ahead of the schedule. The company
has curved a niche to become one-stop shop for all construction
related activities.
Valecha Engineering, a leading player in the construction

road projects in every nook and corner of the country. It

foundations by Public Sectors and MNCs. This is on account
of State of the Art equipment which is possessed by very few
players in the country. It also carried out resurfacing the
runway at Mumbai Airport, Chennai Airport and Dimapur Airport
without affecting the traffic of aircrafts taking off and
landing along with other operational schedules. Valecha Engineering

Hi tech equipment
Valecha Engineering has an adequate and proper mix of equipment
in its possession ranging from state of the art mobile crushing
plants to slip form concrete pavers to batch mix asphalt plants,
which are being utilized in the specialized construction of
concrete

VEL have developed an in-house expertise and collected a wealth
of experience in construction of Roads, Airports, Bridges,
Flyovers, Tunnels, Dams, Piling, etc.
Irrigation work: Dam and canals
The company has contributed in constructing major irrigation
dams, reservoirs & canals - Karanjwan Dam in Upper Godavari
Project, Nasik District, Central Spillway of the Upper Wardha
Project in Amravati District and Warna Masonry Dam in Sangli
District.In the field of canals, Valecha Engineering has covered
a total length of more than 25 kms. Some of the major initiatives
of the company in this area are the Upper Wardha Dam, the
Warna Manory Dam, The Bhandup Reservoir, The Arphal Canal
and the Gyan Sagar Lake opposite the Maritime Institure of
India.
Bridges
VEL has developed an In-house expertise and collected a wealth
of experience in carrying out bridge construction, strengthening
old bridges and modernizing them including widening of carriageways,
etc. The company has used various state of the art methods
such as slip form centring, casting and launching pre-stressed
pre-tensioned and post-tensioned concrete girders by means
of either the Hydraulic cranes or the launching strusses.
Valecha has also executed the bridges across Bhima river and
Ghod river of length 255 m and 240 m respectively in Maharashtra.
Fly-Overs
Apart from building bridges, building flyovers in metros like
Mumbai is also another expertise that Valecha Engineering
has developed over the years. Even though construction in
cities is difficult, our sound planning ensures a smooth transition
for the projects undertaken.
Buildings and structure
In 1996 as part of its long term diversification programme
Valecha entered the property development market. An elegant
eight-storey structure, Valecha Chambers comprises basement,
ground and six upper floors with large, column-free floor
spaces. In addition to infrastructure Civil Engineering work
which forms the forte of Valecha Engineering Ltd, the company
have also constructed some very fine buildings over the years.
The company has also undertaken construction of a residential
project at Wadala in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Roads
Highway construction has been Valecha's core business activity
since its incorporation in 1957. Over the years the company
has built more than 500 km road projects totalling to Rs 2500
millions. As a result of these projects the company has gained
a vast experience in this field.
The Highway projects carried out by VEL cover large stretches
of the road map of India. The rugged and rolling terrain provides
a contrast to the smooth surface and curvilinear beauty of
the highway. Recently VEL has been awarded Chittorgarh Bypass
concrete road in joint venture with Ashoka Buildcon. VEL is
presently executing two concrete roads for MMRDA in Mumbai
city.
The Company is also executing the concrete roads in Pune
city for Pune Municipal Corporation having total value Rs
650 Million. We are also executing the most treacherous portion
of the National Highway in the state of Assam which is worth
Rs 2,270 million
Valecha Engineering Ltd has created some prominent landmarks
in the region of airport construction. With the combination

equipment, we have completed all our airport projects well
