Suzlon Infrastructures Ltd (SIL), founded in 2000 is an independent company representing the captive Infrastructure arm of Suzlon Group, with a clear focus to conceptualise, invest, develop and maintain hi-tech industrial infrastructure solutions across the country. SIL aims to nurture an environment that facilitates development of sustainable infrastructure with use of modern construction and material science and incorporating technology for cost effective solutions. Keeping in line with SUZLON's philosophy of clean and green energy option, it's Infrastructure division also promotes Green methods matching world class infrastructure benchmarks like LEED and TERI ratings. SIL also has various subsidiaries in order to support its business objectives and core competencies namely, Electrical Transmission & Distribution Division and Shipping Division. Suzlon Infrastructures Ltd has rich experience in executing projects for the parent company's complete installation of the end product, wind turbines and development of all associated infrastructure required for its operations. The company has established all manufacturing facilities and offices for Suzlon Group companies globally.
Having focused on the development of infrastructure for wind farms across the length and breadth of India, SIL will now undertake infrastructure projects across the spectrum of needs for heavy engineering and hi-tech industries in varied regimes. Currently Suzlon Infrastru-ctures Ltd is committed towards completion of four major SEZ programs in the country. These SEZs are being developed to
Hi-Tech Industrial Park at Vadodara, Gujarat: Located 12 km from the city of Vadodara and about 10 km South from Vaghodia, the Hi-Tech Industrial Park is envisioned as an area of Engineering Excellence wherein SIL will provide all the necessary infrastructure to fuel the process of industrial development. With an area spanning approx. 350 acres, the industrial park aims to be a blend of modern industrial infrastructure with an eco friendly environment. SIL will build the park around an efficient road network that will be backed by power, water, gas, telecommunication, Fire & safety measures, noise pollution control system and waste management among others.
Hi-Tech Industrial Park at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: The Hi-Tech Industrial Park at Coimbatore is planned and designed with scientific approach with consideration to international standards of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment norms. The site spanning an area of approx. 350 acres is located 22 km from the city of Coimbatore, the park will be developed as a manufacturing base for Hi-Tech engineering components industries with the state of art infrastructure and utilities.
Hi-Tech Industrial Park at Padubidri near Udipi, Karna-taka: The proposed site for the Hi-Tech Industrial Park at Padubidri is located approximately 40-45 km north from the city of Mangalore and about approx. 15-20 km south from the city of Udupi. With an area spanning approx. 600 acres, SUZLON plans to provide the necessary infrastructure to fuel the process of Industrial development.

Fastest developed SEZs in India
Strategically located for easy exports / imports
SIL is the principle developer of these 3 Special Economic Parks approved for sector specific - Hi tech Engineering and all other engineering related products and services which are based at: Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Mangalore (Karnataka) and Vadodara (Gujarat).
